The hotel had very small bathrooms but the rooms were very well decorated, clean, tidy, appealing, and regularly refreshed. The location was great for exploring the local area and restaurants, right in the center of Cartmel. The dining experience was excellent with a very good choice and well-cooked meals.

The hotel is situated in a great location in the center of Cartmel, right over the bar which can be noisy until 9 pm. It was supposed to be a deluxe twin room, but the size felt more like a 3/4 and the mattress was uncomfortable for us.
